Love & Hollywood (Gemini Springs)

On Valentines Day in 2017, Kristina and David were both stuck working a shift at Hard Rock Café in Universal Studios, California. Kristina worked there for over a year before David transferred about a month before the pair got to work a shift together. When she passed “the new guy” in the kitchen, Kristina introduced herself. After he walked away, she told her friend, “I think the new guy is pretty cute.” She said, “You mean the guy with the dimples? Christina was so excited she ran to the outdoor patio section (where he was working) to get a better look!

“I wanted to get to know him so I made up a story that a group of people were going to a bar after work to celebrate Singles Valentine’s Day,” Kristina admits. “He wasn’t sure at first , but one of my friends convinced him to go. Once he confirmed he’d like to go, I realized I needed a group of people. I went back to my friends (who were working that night) and eventually I got a group of about 5 to 6 people to go with. Just happened to be that they were all girls and David was the only guy!”

After that night, David and Kristina became inseparable. The couple actually considers Valentine’s Day to be their anniversary.

Before we met, David remembered having dreams that he would meet a Blonde Asian woman. He even told his coworkers at the time that and they said such thing didn’t exist unless it came from a bottle. At the bar, he found out I happened to be half Asian and a natural dirty blonde. He even took me back to Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Blvd .to prove to his coworkers that his dream became reality.

David also confessed that he remembered seeing Kristina while they worked at Universal Studios together. He asked a mutual friend about her, but decided to not approach because she was unavailable at the time.

Fate has a funny way of bringing people together.
